Jobs
After receiving my 10th rejection notice from potential employers, I have decided to rant about it on my blog. I am allowed to do this, because nobody reads my 'blog' anyway. It seems like all the jobs for people my age involve serving people, using short-term memory, and following numerous verbal instructions all at the same time. I don't know if I would be very good at these things. I guess I could memorise what to say so I could serve people, I would have to write things down, and I would try my best to take in the instructions. Though the last time I was given a set of verbal instructions under a small amount of pressure to have them followed quickly and accurately, I ended up standing there, trying and failing to stop my brain from shutting down, unable to do anything until the teacher noticed and helped me.
I guess the bright side is that I am eligible for Disability Allowance when I turn 18 if I am finding it hard to work. That's what my mother was told. But I want to get a job like a normal person. I've always wanted to be a normal person. Luckily my disguise has worked, so far.
